Today at my workplace, which shall remain nameless at the moment, we talked about the power of the new media. Apparently, print newspapers and regular TV are nearing the end of their Swan Song, and only cavemen do not tweet or blog.
I like it old-school, I love the papery smell of newspapers and magazines. I keep back issues of the Newstatesman at home. Nothing can seduce me to buy an electronic book reader. Yet, a part of me is curious: does Internet bring people closer or drive us further apart?
Thus, I – blogger-virgin, shall write here about things that interest me: music, books, travel, and see where it leads me.
